The use of summary statistics computed using Michigan Medicine’s Patient Data and biorepository resources for
academic research is a privilege, not a right. With this privilege comes the responsibility to protect the privacy
of individuals who are the subjects of the data and/or biospecimens.
Investigators accessing summary-level data through the pheweb tool (e.g., odds ratios and p-values from genome-wide
